Spring Carlisle Collector Car Swap Meet & Corral Was a Great Success Spring Carlisle Collector Car Swap Meet & Corral Was a Great Success
The 2008 Spring Carlisle Recap

This year’s Spring Carlisle Collector Car Swap Meet and Corral was a great success from all aspects of the event. The attendee turnout as well as the vendors who were present throughout the weekend demonstrated why Spring Carlisle is the world’s largest event of its kind, that is along with the Fall Carlisle event of course. As a kick-off to the Carlisle Events show season the automotive community was in high-spirits about the upcoming specialty events and the special guests, activities and excitement each has to offer. In addition to the Spring Carlisle event was the third annual Spring Carlisle Auction that was hosted on Friday evening and throughout the day on Saturday at the Carlisle Expo Center. The record number of collector cars for sale together with the record number of bidders provided spectators with the Auction excitement that is usually only found on television. Carlisle Auctions reported more than 52% of the vehicles were sold on Friday’s auction with additional vehicles being sold even after their moment in the spotlight while displayed in the still for sale lot.
